8:00pm Talk 1: To Share on the business development/ marketing side, how STEM can be developed/ integrated as a service oriented to education sector

Mr Terry Ng oversees two innovative lines of business in HKT, namely HKT education and eSmartHealth. Both of these involve the use of technology in education as well as active ageing and health management.
Prior to joining HKT, Terry had nearly twenty years of experience working in multi-national companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, PepsiCo and Unilever, and had responsibility in their strategic brand marketing management and advertising management. He is specialized in brand repositioning and new product innovation development.

by Ms Monica Leung, Founder, Blueinno Technology Limited
Monica is the Founder of Blueinno Technology Limited, which is a technology product and service company. Ms. Monica Leung has 10+ years of R&D experience in software development and product solution design in ICT industry before she started Blueinno. Blueinno has been providing different STEM courses at schools and work with different partners, including Robotic Garage at HK Science Park and Ingdan at Cyberport to provide different popular STEAM and robotics courses. Blueinno's courses has been featured in different media, including SCMP, and HK Economic Times.
Monica holds a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Monica now serves as a Committee Member of Electronics Division of the Hong Kong Institute of Engineers (HKIE). She is an Executive Committee Member of Hong Kong Electronics & Technologies Association (HKETA). She also serves as the Committee Member of the Computer Science Advisory Committee of the University of Hong Kong (HKU).
Monica will be talking about the trend of STEM products, and how she foresee the STEM Education market in Asia.
8:40pm Talk 3: STEM & Robotics competition: The future education

In recent years, STEM has become the new trend in education sector globally, in order to enhance competitiveness, it is essential for Hong Kong to put more emphasis on STEM-related programme and education, especially as the Education Bureau has been promoting STEM in Hong Kong. To motivate students enjoying the learning, robotics competition can be a good start, it can be much more fun and practical.
Mr Roy Pang has more than 15 years’ experience in branding and marketing industry. Roy obtained a MBA degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and joined various world-leading 4As advertising agencies, mainly to manage marketing activities and brand development for multinational companies such as Huawei Technologies, Emerson, Philips etc. Currently at BDS, Roy is managing the promotion and development of STEM education and robotics competition.
